Karen, while working as a Home Health Nurse, recognized the need for better hands-on care for her patients. Also having an elderly mother and mother-in-law to care for, became the push towards creating a home environment where they could all live together, forming Mothers and Others, Incorporated.

Chuck maintains the facility and is the accountant for Mothers and Others, Inc. “We built our facility to care for only 8 Residents who need assistance, good home-cooking, companionship, and most of all someone to care for them with love in a safe environment. Karen and Chuck both live on-site providing peace of mind with security for all residents.

J. Desaray Ammons... our supervisor over employees and all staffing duties. She is available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Desaray has been employed by Mothers & Others since 1999, starting out as a CNA. She has additional education incluing CMA and nursing classes, plus a long term care operator licensing.

Sherri Owens...is Karen’s daughter. She has been employeed since 1999. She currently works in the office as Manager, Billing and Assistant Operator
